Step 1: Quit iTunes

Step 2: Press Windows Key + R to open the run dialog. Enter in cmd then click OK

Step 3: Enter the following command into the Command Prompt window.

“C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe” /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

Step 4: Connect your iPhone and click to launch iTunes from your Start Menu.

Step 5: Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left then hold down the Shift key and click the Check for Updates button.

Step 6: Now you can now select your .ipcc file as it is not greyed out

I don’t think the iPhone will go to Verizon for four reasons. One: iPhone was turned down in 2007, because of a power struggle over who can control it. Two: Apple won’t let Verizon control the iPhone, Verizon won’t let Apple control the iPhone. Three: You’d have to build a CDMA iPhone, which Apple isn’t planning on doing. I think if they were that they’d have said something by now. Four: I heard AT&T’s contract is going to be extended until 2011, and someone even said for five more years.

This is by far the best option for this price, the iphone is well over $600 (alot more than what we charge for the meizu) without a plan, and for T-Mobile users jailbreaking/sim card unlocking is a hassle!

We now know that all those rumors of a new iPhone for 2009 were correct, well most of them anyway. The new iPhone called the iPhone 3G S does not have some of the features that were rumored, but at least we have something that Apple say is two times faster than the iPhone 3G.

Let us take some time to compare the features of the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3G S. The iPhone 3G has a 2 megapixels camera, whereas the iPhone 3G S comes with a 3-megapixel camera with Autofocus, Tap to focus and Video recording.

The iPhone 3G comes with Cut, Copy, and Paste, MMS, Spotlight Search, Landscape Keyboard and Voice Memos. The iPhone 3G S further adds to this with improved performance, Built-in video camera with editing, Voice Control and Compass.

The new iPhone now comes with a choice of 16GB and 32GB in a choice of white or black. The battery now lasts much longer, such as when you are using Wi-Fi. Another feature that we forgot to mention about the new Apple iPhone 3G S is Stereo Bluetooth, we have been waiting a long time for that feature.
