A fellow YouTuber tipped me off on the packaging it was in. Apparently I got sold the old version, only meant for the 2.2 firmware! Don’t make the same mistake!

ONLY FOR MAC OS X 10.5.6 USERS WHO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE IN-DFU-MODE iPhone:

Download link to automator program that’ll enable entering dfu-mode again:

Download it, open the file, and open the automator program that’s in it.

It will give you some warnings, just click OK!!
After it’s done, it’ll auto-reboot your Mac, and you’ll be able to enter dfu-mode again, and afterwards unlock and/or jailbreak your iPhone !
